The original Everyday Messenger is the iconic Peak Design bag that introduced some of our most renowned bag features—like MagLatch and FlexFold dividers—to the world. Like the new V2 Messenger, the V1 is made from a beautiful and durable 400D nylon canvas that is DWR-impregnated and poly-coated for excellent weatherproofing. It has a durable 900D bottom liner that is waterproof. A quick-adjusting internally-padded strap lets you comfortably and quickly switch between cross-body and shoulder carry. And FlexFold dividers let you totally customize your internal organization.

These V1 Messenger bags are highly sought after by some of our long-time customers because they contain a few features that were removed when we designed the V2 Messenger. This includes the front-access panel, which is an extra storage space on the front of the V1 bag that is subdivided with an array of stretchy pockets for small stuff. The V1 bag also has 2 access zips across the top—one to the main compartment, and one to the laptop/tablet sleeve. In the V2 bag, all internal access is done via the MagLatch opening.

The V1 bag also comes in 2 sizes: 13" and 15", which refers to the maximum laptop capacity. The 13" comes with 2 FlexFold dividers and the 15" comes with 3. Also note that the V1 bag has a luggage pass-through on the back panel for carrying atop roller luggage. The luggage pass-through is not, however, present on the tan colored bags.
